Spijkers en Spijkers and Specsavers the perfect combo!!

Up until recently the idea of me wearing my prescription glasses to an event like that of Fashion Week was unlikely. However, the pair of “Spijkers & Spijkers” which I picked up at Specsavers were so on point, I bought two models! At this point in my life, glasses are no longer just for me to wear around the house, but a necessity that I’ve incorporated into my lifestyle as a whole. The best way for me to celebrate my personal milestone was by attending the “Spijkers & Spijkers” show at MBFWA while sporting my personal pair along with a matching outfit.

There are many colors and shapes to choose from, however the cat eye model has captured the heart of the 50s lady inside of me. Complimenting it with a modest black and white outfit and matching the print on print, gives them that modern twist. The Spijkers & Spijkers show was amazing once again, with the focus being color and print! I’d definitely rock every item in their new collection. The edgy yet feminine looks speak directly to me.

A handy tip for my fellow (prescription) eye glass wearers:

Specsavers has a great collection of glasses that’ll suit various pallets. Have a look at the new ‘Spring/Summer trend collection’ which presents “Crazy colours”, “Luxury feeling” and “Transparent”. I am wearing the transparent look. Their range of sunglasses are to die for as well. They often have a “2 for the price of 1” deal, possibly making choosing slightly easier. I myself struggle with just picking one!569a788b2991b 569a7882a4fb7
