Being that the school and fall seasons are at our doorstep, I felt that it was time to take my girls on a shopping spree. Some of you may have heard of McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Roermond, but it was definitely a first for me. This shopping paradise located in the southern region of The Netherlands houses most of your favorite brands at competitive prices. Aside for my own fashion influence, I’ve noticed that my daughters are evolving into little fashionistas in their own right. Naturally the possibility of adding key items to compliment their existing wardrobes without having to break the band appealed to me. The Roermond based designer outlet recently expanded their selection by adding more children’s brands. In addition to the shopping component, their facility also includes restaurants and a playground – making this a full day of family fun that’s well worth repeating!

Below are some fall appropriate looks I put together using the latest collections on hand at the outlet:

Royal Blue

Let’s start with this chique and cool look.
I love the color royal blue because it definitely does what it says. It gives your outfit that desired royal touch! The young ladies are huge fans of faux fur, so needless to say these Ikks jackets were a hit. I on the other hand was delighted to satisfy my craving for big skirts with this one by Maje. Combining it with a long sleeve shirt conveys a casual chique vibe. I finished the looks off with some fun accessories like a detailed tassel handbag and a blue hat on Sifare. A subtle way to make the overall outfits pop!

Green, Grey & Gold

The bomber jacket is an essential piece for fall. It’s perfect length makes it great for layering and a complementary addition to either a pair of jeans or a cute dress (as shown). If you follow me regularly, you know that I don’t shy away from mixing fabrics. So these cool velvet booties sealed this outfit beautifully. This jumpsuit was India’s favorite piece. It’s stretchy, comfortable and easy to take on and off – all things kids find important! All we needed were these cute short leopard jackets to compete the look.

Red Red is the perfect color to brighten up the grey days that are lurking around the corner in The Netherlands. Have you ever tried wearing all red? If not, I recommend you try it by playing with various fabrics and shades of red. The results may pleasantly surprise you!
