It was so special taking my daughter with me to Amsterdam fashion week, looking so grown up and even wearing her own wedges reserved for festive occasions. To make it more memorable she was also interviewed by Amsterdam fashion week TV and my once a shy girl did it like a pro.
During the show she gave me her thoughts like a true fashion critic with comments such as: “ok that dress is not nice on that model or that’s way too short and omg! that model can’t walk properly with those shoes, they are way too big!” but also made positive remarks like “oh that’s a beautiful dress”.
My daughter and I were twinning as usual, wearing both (you would never guess) a Pimkie outfit.
For the last three past collections they have been using African print, so being true to myself I just had to have a look at their collection. For her I picked out the smallest size from the woman’s department and made small adjustments.”Thank you lord for a creative stylish mum” she said, “she always makes it happen” and to me that was the sweetest compliment of the week!
Me: Headscarf from Thailand/ Necklace from Tanzania/ Komono sunglasses/ Pimkie top and shorts/ L.K. Benett Shoes
