I took India with me to the Kleine Fabriek, Amsterdam based international fair for children’s fashion, shoes, accessories, home &gift products and toys. Together we made a selection of our favorite products.
Naif: Because of a lack of quality baby products found in mainstream stores, two Dutch dads started their own brand Naif! Natural care products for the sensitive baby skin.
http://naifcare.com/nl/Fact: They are the first in the Netherlands to produce baby kits for hotels, something that is oddly never found in guest rooms.
I love these dads for making that step, who would want to use the standard hotel amenity products on the sensitive skins of their babies . This travel kit is the perfect solution and is already offered in hotels such as the Conservatorium, the Dylan & The Grand.
Waawaaw:I was immediately sold when I discovered this brand. Wax print clothing for kids. I sometimes have my own children’s outfits hand made and it’s now great to have found a children’s clothing company that carries a wide selection of unique handmade beautiful prints. What about these mini Dashiki outfits??
They also have these beautiful hand made dolls.
Affenzahn:My daughter immediately froze as she glanced over at these backpacks. It’s not easy finding a cute sturdy backpack that your children will like. They usually choose low quality backpacks covered by their favorite cartoon characters. Affenzahn comes in two sizes for your toddler or preschooler. India promised to pose for me if I would get her one.
Janod:Based in France for the past 40 years, Janod produces an enormous selection of beautiful wooden toys and games with wonderful modern design. Tinkerbell Toys, Gone With The Wind and the Bijenkorf are my favorite stores to buy unique children’s presents.
Anne-Claire petit: The world of Anne-Claire petit is a happy world full of color and quirky figures made by hand, in crochet or knitted. For their new collection they have an expo. A beautiful way to present their product. It’s hard to choose from these beautiful creatures why not collect them all!
With love from India and Maureen
