December is almost here, which means it’s holiday season!

The first think that comes to mind when I think of December is that Andy Williams song, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”. Despite the cold temperatures, it’s a fun time with family and friends and of course – dressing up! I’ve been buying my daughters’ Christmas attire at River Island for the past few years and each year I’m impressed by their stunning holiday collection. 2017 is no different, the Studio Collection is amazing. Everything we all want to wear during this season (ie: faux fur, leather, embellishments, shimmer and rhinestones) are all prominently featured. I especially love how some pieces transition seamlessly between lovely day-wear and sultry evening garb (including black and gold suits). For example, the jacket can be paired with a simple t-shirt and denim, while the pants can be combined with a nice sweater. The rich fabric shines as the night get longer! The Girls Studio Collection is also very diverse in its offerings. Check out this suit that Sifare is wearing. Some girls prefer wearing suits over dresses.

India is wearing a pink ensemble which can also be paired with a white shirt and sealed off by a faux-fur jacket.

This leather dress is another awe inspiring piece in the collection. Its powerful shoulders pay homage to the 80s (an era which I love) all while maintaining its modern vibe.
